A Scottish man was arrested for drink driving after a barmaid phoned the police after he was spotted stumbling to his car.
The man, Ross Duncan was spotted by a barmaid at The Greentrees pub in Dyce as he was stumbling back to his Renault Clio car.
The barmaid was concerned that he was drunk and phoned the police in attempt to stop him driving.
However, when she returned to the carpark she discovered that both Mr Duncan and his car were gone.
When the police arrived at Mr Duncan’s house they found the car parked outside and Mr Duncan asleep inside.
When tested for drink driving driving he gave a reading on 105mg of alcohol per 100ml of breath. The current drink driving limit in Scotland is 22mg.
Mr Duncan pleaded guilty to drink driving and the court heard that this was his second like offence.
He was released on bail to return for sentence on a later date but an immediate interim disqualification was imposed.
