A bus driver has appeared in court following him jumping a red light, which ended in a horrifying crash.
And at the time he was driving his bus with 20 school children on board.
The female driver of the other car suffered arm injuries and a passenger on the bus was also hurt.
However, despite the horrifying crash, the 21 year old driver, Philip Onions is still allowed to drive after the Magistrates issued him with 8 penalty points on his driving licence.
Onions was also fined £147 and ordered to pay court costs of £85.
Magistrate Christine Shaw told Onions: “Because you were driving a bus, this makes it more serious.
“But we won’t disqualify you.
“You are remorseful, and you did try to be sure the people were all right.”
