A man has been banned from driving for 20 months after ploughing into a row of parked cars.
34-year-old Nicholas Dix was arrested following an incident in Southway early on July 9.
He was arrested by police after crashing into 6 parked vehicles. His breathalyser test returned positive, with 80mcg alcohol per 100ml breath recorded. The legal limit is 35mcg.
Dix pleaded guilty to drink driving and driving without due care and attention at Plymouth Magistrates court on 27 July where he was disqualified from driving for 20 months.
In addition to the ban he was handed a 12-month community order, must carry out a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement, undertake 100 hours unpaid work and must pay £85 court costs and a victim surcharge of £85.
