A police officer from the Isle of Man has been convicted of drink driving and sentenced to community service.
Chloe Keegan crashed her car into a field on 18 April and was subsequently breathalysed. As a result she has been banned from driving for 6 years and ordered to undertake 200 hours of community service. A former police officer, she has since resigned from her post.
Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughs has stated how Keegan’s actions had undermined the work of the police when it came to dealing with drink driving.
