Despite having 2 suspended prison sentences over her head, a mum of 3 has been given another chance after being caught drink driving.
The driver, Tina Young had previously been handed down 2 suspended prison sentences for assault occasioning actual bodily harm and cultivating cannabis.
On this new occasion, she was caught driving whilst twice over the drink driving limit.
Young pleaded guilty to the offence and appeared before Bristol Crown Court for sentence.
Judge Michael Longman decided to follow the recommendation within the pre sentence report and defer Young’s sentence for 6 months.
He told Young: “I want to give you longer to demonstrate you can stay free of offending.
“In the meantime remain out of trouble.
“In six months’ time there will be a further report from the probation service.
“Please make sure you don’t come back in six months’ time and I would have to do what I’m reluctant to do and lock you up.”
Young was disqualified from driving until her deferred sentence hearing.
