A 41‑year‑old man was arrested on suspicion of drink‑driving and other offences after a bulldozer was driven through a city centre in the West Midlands, according to local reporting. Footage shared online showed a construction vehicle being operated through busy streets and colliding with other vehicles before police intervention.

The incident occurred in a city centre (reported in related coverage as Wolverhampton), where the bulldozer was seen being driven along main roads, at one point pushing a Royal Mail lorry out of the way. Members of the public captured video of the vehicle’s movements before officers were able to stop the vehicle and detain the driver.

Police arrested the man on suspicion of drink‑driving, and he was also reported to be investigated for other potential offences, including dangerous driving and criminal damage connected to the events.

The construction machine involved was described as a 24‑tonne bulldozer, and posts circulating online noted that the vehicle allegedly had been stolen prior to being driven through the city centre.

Footage of the confrontation shows officers attempting to halt the bulldozer’s progress, including manoeuvres involving other vehicles. The full details of any charges and court proceedings were not included in the available reporting.
